BROTHERHOOD OF MAN
Spoken intro:
And this came to me the other day,
Listening to the words of JMJ.
I finally got what he tried to
convey.
An Unity of man is the only way,
And We are created equal,
Our life's a movie with no sequel,
Flying from the Earth to Outer
Space,
Doesn't matter, there's just the
human race.
The Brotherhood of Man,
We're following His plan.
Now, don't you understand?
We're the Brotherhood of Man.
Scattered like seeds across the
Earth,
We all live, dream and die after
birth.
Though many colours across the
lands,
Throughout time, we're more than
the sands.
The Brotherhood of Man,
We're following His plan.
Now, don't you understand?
We're the Brotherhood of Man.
And we must fall to our knees,
Lord take my life do what you
please,
The spark that you gave to me one
day,
The breath of life you blew into
the clay.
The Brotherhood of Man,
We're following His plan.
Now, don't you understand?
We're the Brotherhood of Man.
If we're ashes to ashes and dust to
dust,
And if all our machines just turn
to rust,
We must give life to dreams to - dreams so they fly,
Tell children we bear don't ever
let your faith die.
The Brotherhood of Man,
We're following His plan.
Now, don't you understand?
We're the Brotherhood of Man.
Grab onto your brother and hold his
hand,
Hold one another, united we all
stand.
Bound by our belief – Faith, Hope and Love -
Saved by the One watching from
above.
The Brotherhood of Man,
We're following His plan.
Now, don't you understand?
We're the Brotherhood of Man.
The love that we have – is all that we are,
In God's galaxies – we're smaller than a star.
And we are one in His blood and
we're colourblind.
And we are one in His love- call us humankind.
The Brotherhood of Man,
We're following His plan.
Now, don't you understand?
We're the Brotherhood of Man.
The Brotherhood of Man,
We're following His plan.
Now, don't you understand?
We're the Brotherhood of Man.
ONE WORLD
V1/ I'm tired of I'm wrong, you're
right,
I'm tired of you're left, they're
right,
I'm tired of the fuss and fight,
Oh why do we have to fight?
Ch/ For we're all in the human
race,
Let's work together in this place,
Well now why can't we get along?
Must I write these words in a song?
One tribe and we've got one earth,
No hate, let's have joy and mirth!
One world, one love and one heart,
We are brothers from the start!
V2/ I'm tired of the opining,
I'm tired of all the whining,
The truth I am not divining,
So no more lies, tears or whining!
V3/ Well now, why can't we get
along?
One world, one love, and one heart,
Must I say these words in a song?
One world, one love, and one heart!
WITHOUT BORDERS
1/ Somewhere in this great land,
Where people united for a stand,
Where a brother gave a hand,
Scenes repeated through the land.
Ch/ Then take the hand of your
brother,
Show the love to one another,
And tear down fences built of fear,
Live without borders and unite
here.
2/ You can make a difference today,
Shine your light in another's way,
Lend a hand to help your brother,
Care for this Earth as our mother.
3/ Take the torch and pass it on,
Make this day a brighter dawn.
Take poverty and make it gone,
We unite for a new day's dawn.
4/ End the distance between men,
Change the World – unite my friend,
We must walk as a brother then,
Walk it now – don't wait till then.
5/ Plant the seeds of Peace and
Love,
Keep our skies so blue above,
Provide shelters from the rain,
There for others through their
pain.
